Giants
During the Age of Construction, the Tectonics created the Giants to teach the peoples of Kad how to construct weapons, castles and much more. They once had titanic cities of their own. The Giants disappeared at the dawn of the Cataclysm and their cities were largely returned to nature.
Their names were often in Common so they could better communicate with mortals.
